I am a Montessori convert! My kids are in early childhood and lower elementary at School of the Woods and we couldn't be happier! The education is student-led, but it's not a free for all like some might think. The students are guided by caring teachers, helped by the experience of their peers. They work independently but within an ordered framework, preparing them for what's ahead in school and life! We love that they are encouraged to follow their own curiosity at their own pace. Montessori students grow up to be confident, enthusiastic, and truly thoughtful adolescents and teens.
